Raleigh native, DJ Baptiste's exposure to and passion for multiple genres appeals to a wide range of audiences. His most recent noteworthy collaborations include national brands such as Marriott International, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Trader Joes, Lululemon, Live!, U.S. Foods, and Red Bull. While living in NYC for ten years as a songwriter and performer, DJ Baptiste collaborated with Grammy winning and nominated artists such as Devo Springsteen, Ro James, Kreesha Turner, Andrea McArdle, and Cybill Shepard. During this period, he also worked closely with MTV Making The Band's Ankh Ra Amenhetep. 

 

He is currently recording new material – and plans to begin releasing singles in the Summer of 2025 with his bands, Innocent U and JAINUS. DJ Baptiste's last independent project, "Suq" (released in 2020), garnered significant local attention and had two singles in rotation on WKNC 88.1 FM. DJ Baptiste has become a household name in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area, having provided music for Duke University, North Carolina Central University, Durham Bulls Stadium, Marble’s Kids Museum, Urban Oak Raleigh, Level 7 Rooftop, AVA Rooftop Bar, Dram & Draught, East End Bistrot, Madre, Sir Walter Coffee, Raleigh Wine Shop, Boxyard RTP, Clockwork, Teets, Annexe Durham, and Boxcar.
